Novruz celebration was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies

On March 19, 2019, the Student Trade Union Organization organized a celebration of the Novruz holiday. Professor Elkhan Azizov, Dean of the Faculty, opened the event. Elkhan Azizov congratulated professor-teacher and student staff on the occasion, wished them further scientific and pedagogical, educational and personal successes. Academician Vasim Mammadaliyev, Head of the Chair of Arabic Philology, Professor Rufat Rustamov, Head of the Turkish Philology Department, and Dashgin Ganbarov, Chairman of the BSU, talked about the history, traditions and ceremonies of Novruz. The event continued with the performance of national dances and songs. At the end, the third year student of the TUO, Ibrahim Babayev, thanked BSU leadership and faculty dean on behalf of the students for the quality of their education and the quality of their leisure time.
