Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Aydan Rafig Zeka Khandan was born on March 19, 1975 in Baku in an intelligent family, in 1981-1991 she studied at the 7th secondary school in Baku. In 1991-1996, she graduated with honors from the Department of Turkish Philology of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of BSU, and in 1996 began her career at the Department of Turkish Philology. In 2003, she defended her dissertation on "Artistic features of the work of Yahya Kamal Bayatli." In 2006-2008, taught Turkish at the Department of Oriental Languages, Faculty of Modern Languages, Latvian State University. In 2009, she was elected an associate professor at the Department of Turkish Philology, and in 2012 was named associate professor. In 2014, she was admitted to the doctoral program in Turkish literature. In 2019, was awarded the Medal of Progress by the President of the country. She has been a member of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union since 2019. Aydan Rafig Zeka Khandan has participated in dozens of scientific conferences in the country and abroad. She is the author of more than 40 articles, 3 programmes, 1 manual methodical study guide book and 1 book.
